I approach my work with an editor’s eye. That’s because the best solutions cut the extraneous, revealing an idea that’s unexpected, engaging, and effective. I believe true creativity contains elements of both information and entertainment. I love concepts that are cool without condescension. Witty without a laugh track. Memorable for the right reasons.
I also recognize that the best suggestions aren’t always mine. Sometimes the most innovative thing a person can do is help cultivate an atmosphere where great work can flourish.
